This dataset provides a curated, research-grade compilation of studies examining the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) within entrepreneurial contexts across the period 2014–2024. Drawn exclusively from Scopus-indexed peer-reviewed publications, the collection represents 19 primary studies that met the eligibility criteria of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The dataset was constructed using the PRISMA protocol, ensuring transparent reporting of identification, screening, and inclusion procedures. To strengthen conceptual reliability, the review was complemented by a Delphi Method, in which domain experts iteratively refined the emerging interpretations.The dataset consists of two primary components: (1) a document file containing the synthesized SLR mapping of roles and challenges, developed through a Gioia-based grounded analysis, and (2) a CSV file listing all included publications. The analytic procedure yielded structured insights for three research questions focused on IoMT’s entrepreneurial roles, its implementation challenges, and future research trajectories.Overall, this dataset offers a systematically validated evidence base for scholars exploring how IoMT technologies are reshaping entrepreneurial opportunities, operational models, and innovation pathways in the health-technology ecosystem. It is designed to support replication, secondary analysis, methodological teaching, and future theory-building work at the intersection of technology entrepreneurship and digital health infrastructures.<br>
