SSRs of Ostorhinchus doederleini. Transcriptome based SSRs of the cardinalfish Ostorhinchus doederleini

Ostorhinchus doederleini belongs to the family Apogonidae, commonly known as cardinalfish. The species is widely distributed in the pacific ocean and inhabits coastal areas. In order to study the genetic diversity of this species we developed primer pairs genetic sites containing simple sequence repeats (SSRs). Illumina Miseq sequences of several specimen were obtained and mapped against one individual Ostorhinchus doederleini as reference. Primer were characterized from variable SSR areas based on this mapping.

杜氏天竺鲷（Ostorhinchus doederleini）隶属于天竺鲷科（Apogonidae），该科鱼类通常被称为天竺鲷（cardinalfish）。该物种广泛分布于太平洋，栖息于近岸海域。为研究该物种的遗传多样性，我们开发了一批靶向含简单序列重复（simple sequence repeats，SSRs）遗传位点的引物对。我们获取了多份样本的Illumina MiSeq测序序列，并以单尾杜氏天竺鲷个体作为参考序列进行比对。基于此次比对结果，我们从具有多态性的SSR区域中筛选并表征了引物对。
