Data files and R codes from: Ecological predictors of interspecific variation in bird bill and leg lengths on a global scale

This repository contains data files and R codes for Xu et al. Ecological predictors of interspecific variation in bird bill and leg lengths on a global scale. It has two folders. One is dedicated to visualize phylogenetic distribution of relative bill length and tarsus length. The other is for performing phylogenetic linear regressions and phylogenetic path analyses. The latter contains two subfolders, one corresponding to the classification of migration by BirdLife International, and the other based on the classification of migration by Tobias et al. 2022.

本仓库收录了Xu等人题为《全球尺度鸟类喙部与跗跖长度种间变异的生态预测因子》研究的配套数据文件与R语言代码。本仓库包含两个文件夹：其一用于可视化相对喙长与跗跖长的系统发育分布；其二用于开展系统发育线性回归与系统发育路径分析。后者下设两个子文件夹：其一对应国际鸟类联盟（BirdLife International）的迁徙类型分类体系，其二基于Tobias等人2022年提出的迁徙分类方案。
