This dataset covers the climate and road condition characteristics of the three competition zones across the two hosting locations of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, and is primarily intended for the analysis of research contents such as vehicle selection specified in the subject assessment indicators. This dataset is compiled and statistically obtained through field surveys, investigations from relevant government departments including the Transportation Bureau, and publicly released materials from the meteorological bureau. Its main data items include: historical air temperatures and corresponding specific dates in the Zhangjiakou and Yanqing competition zones, as well as road names, road longitudinal gradients, slope lengths, road widths and other relevant parameters of roads in these two zones.
