Push−Pull [2]Pseudorotaxanes. Electronic Control of Threading by Switching ON/OFF an Intramolecular Charge Transfer

Addition of acid and base allows switching between two different structures in a push−pull bis(pyridinium)ethane axle, controlling its ability
to form [2]pseudorotaxanes with a dibenzo-24-crown-8 ether wheel.

通过添加酸与碱，可在推拉型双(吡啶鎓)乙烷轴（push-pull bis(pyridinium)ethane axle）的两种不同结构之间实现切换，进而调控其与二苯并24-冠-8醚大环（dibenzo-24-crown-8 ether wheel）形成[2]准轮烷（[2]pseudorotaxanes）的能力。
