Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a major cause of chronic infections of the airways of individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF) associated associated with high rates of morbidity and mortality. Key phenotypic traits among isolates have have been shown to have high diversity within populations. In this study we aim to use population genomics and phylogenomics to reconstruct the evolutionary histories of CF infections caused by the transmissible P. aeruginosa Liverpool Epidemic Strain (LES).

铜绿假单胞菌(Pseudomonas aeruginosa)是引发囊性纤维化(CF)患者气道慢性感染的主要致病菌,这类感染常伴随较高的发病率与死亡率。已有研究表明,分离株的关键表型性状在种群内部呈现高度多样性。本研究旨在借助群体基因组学与系统发育基因组学技术,重构由可传播的铜绿假单胞菌利物浦流行菌株(LES)引发的CF感染的进化历程。
