The difference in body weight among individuals is associated with metabolic differences that affect various physiological processes. Therefore, the characterization of mice with low-weight gain may help identify potential targets for anti-obesity measures and therapeutic interventions for metabolic diseases. In this study, we aimed to find common features between three types of mice genetically knockout to exhibit low-weight gain, G protein-coupled receptor, family C, group 5, member B (Gprc5b), gastric inhibitory polypeptide receptor (Gipr), and Iroquois related homeobox 3 (Irx3).
个体间的体重差异,与影响多种生理过程的代谢差异密切相关。因此,对低体重增长小鼠的表征研究,或有助于识别抗肥胖干预策略及代谢疾病治疗的潜在靶点。本研究旨在探究三种经基因敲除后呈现低体重增长表型的小鼠的共同特征,这三种小鼠分别为G蛋白偶联受体C家族5组成员B(Gprc5b)、胃抑素受体(Gipr)以及易洛魁相关同源框3(Irx3)的基因敲除模型。
