Open benchmark dataset and analysis pipeline for testing whether the sandbox multifractal descriptor (Δα, α₀, f(α₀)) on citation networks is reducible to the underlying degree distribution. Includes 22 disciplinary citation subnetworks built from OpenAlex (1,847,646 nodes; 12,281,275 edges total), 100 configuration-model and 100 Erdős–Rényi null-model realizations per discipline, 15 traditional network metric outputs, and the full sandbox-MFA / null-model / regression pipeline source code.
