Easements

This dataset contains easements identified as the EASE record type within the Sarpy County Register of Deeds digital records system. The current dataset includes easements from 1988 to present. Easements recorded prior to 1988, or easements not available through the digital records system, may be added when discovered and verified. Easements are mapped using legal descriptions contained within recorded easement documents, plats, and surveys. Easements may not be mapped when a legal description is unavailable, insufficient, or does not provide enough information to accurately determine the easement location. General utility easements dedicated solely by plat language (for example, utility easements along lot lines) are not mapped. General utility easements established through separate recorded documents are mapped when sufficient information is available. This dataset is not all inclusive and represents easements identified and mapped by Sarpy County GIS as resources allow and recorded information is available.
