Datasets for HC's AI4ER PhD Project - I

This repository contains all of the datasets required to replicate the results within the report. Note that these datasets are not necessarily the most up to date available from each organisation. These datasets have been processed in QGIS and should be used as input to the 'preprocessing.ipynb' notebook on the GitHub repository. Note that some datasets are downloaded directly from Google Earth Engine and so are not included within this dataset repository (see notebook for download code). The following datasets are provided: labelled_field_data.zip - collection of modern and historical peat thickness samples (various) fens_outline.zip - shape file delineating the Fens boundary (Natural England) landcover.tif - landcover classification map (UKCEH) CROME.tif - crop map of England classification map (Rural Payments Agency) lidar.tif - elevation map (Environment Agency) MRVBF.tif - multiresolution valley bottom flatness (derived from lidar) MRRTF.tif - multiresolution ridge top flatness (derived from lidar) TWI.tif - topographic wetness index (derived from lidar) distance_to_river.tif - euclidean distance to nearest river (derived from Ordnance Survey) distance_to_watercourse.tif - euclidean distance to nearest watercourse (derived from Ordnance Survey) NATMAPvector.tif - soil map classification map (LandIS) NATMAPsoilscapes.tif - simplified soil map classification map (LandIS) NATMAPcarbon.tif - soil carbon map (LandIS) peaty_soils.tif - estimated map of peat occurrence (DEFRA)

本仓库包含复现报告中所有结果所需的全部数据集。请注意，这些数据集未必是各机构当前可获取的最新版本。所有数据集均已在QGIS中完成预处理，可作为输入文件用于GitHub仓库中的`preprocessing.ipynb`交互式笔记本。部分数据集直接从Google Earth Engine（谷歌地球引擎）下载，因此未包含在本数据集仓库中，具体下载代码详见对应笔记本。

本次提供的数据集如下：
- `labelled_field_data.zip`：现代与历史泥炭厚度样本合集（涵盖多种类型）
- `fens_outline.zip`：划定芬斯（Fens）区域边界的矢量形状文件，由英国自然环境署（Natural England）提供
- `landcover.tif`：土地覆盖分类地图，由英国生态与水文学中心（UKCEH）提供
- `CROME.tif`：英格兰作物分类地图，由农村支付署（Rural Payments Agency）提供
- `lidar.tif`：高程地图，由环境署（Environment Agency）提供
- `MRVBF.tif`：多分辨率谷底平坦度指数（由激光雷达数据衍生得到）
- `MRRTF.tif`：多分辨率山脊顶部平坦度指数（由激光雷达数据衍生得到）
- `TWI.tif`：地形湿度指数（由激光雷达数据衍生得到）
- `distance_to_river.tif`：至最近河流的欧几里得距离图层（由英国地形测量局（Ordnance Survey）衍生得到）
- `distance_to_watercourse.tif`：至最近水道的欧几里得距离图层（由英国地形测量局（Ordnance Survey）衍生得到）
- `NATMAPvector.tif`：土壤分类地图，由LandIS提供
