Asset database for the Maranoa-Balonne-Condamine subregion on 16 June 2015

## **Abstract** \n\n\n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThe Maranoa-Balonne-Condamine Asset database v2 supersedes the previous version of the Asset database, "Asset database for the Maranoa-Balonne-Condamine subregion on 09 June 2015", GUID: 01c1f112-3629-4527-a576-f84dbcda493e. \n\nv2 20150609 incorporates the results of the water dependency test (M2), and corrected "subgroup" attributes for five Assets (AIDs 4741, 4742, 4743, 4745, 4747). Flags have also been updated from "On/Off" values to "Yes/No" values. \n\n\n\nThe asset database is registered to the BA repository as an ESRI personal goedatabase (.mdb - doubling as a MS Access database) that can store, query, and manage non-spatial data. The spatial data is contained in a separate file geodatabase. the two databases can be joined using the AID and/or ElementID as required. \n\n\n\nSome of the source data used in the compilation of this dataset is restricted.\n\n\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nUnder the BA program, a spatial assets database is developed for each defined bioregional assessment project. The spatial elements that underpin the identification of water dependent assets are identified in the first instance by regional NRM organisations (via the WAIT tool) and supplemented with additional elements from national and state/territory government datasets. All reports received associated with the WAIT process for MBC are included in the zip file as part of this dataset. \n\n\n\nElements are initially included in the preliminary assets database if they are partly or wholly within the subregion's preliminary assessment extent (Materiality Test 1, M1). Elements are then grouped into assets which are evaluated by project teams to determine whether they meet the second Materiality Test (M2). Assets meeting both Materiality Tests comprise the water dependent asset list. Descriptions of the assets identified in the Clarence-Morton subregion are found in the "AssetList" table of the database. In this version of the database M1 and M2 have both been assessed. \n\n\n\nAssets are the spatial features used by project teams to model scenarios under the BA program. Detailed attribution does not exist at the asset level. Asset attribution includes only the core set of BA-derived attributes reflecting the BA classification hierarchy, as described in Appendix A of "MBC_asset_database_doc_20150616.doc", located in the zip file as part of this dataset. The "Element_to_Asset" table contains the relationships and identifies the elements that were grouped to create each asset. v2版本（20150609）纳入了水依赖性测试（M2）的结果，并修正了5项资产（资产ID：4741、4742、4743、4745、4747）的"subgroup"属性值。此外，标志字段的值已从"On/Off"更新为"Yes/No"。

## **数据集历史**

在生物区域评估（BA）计划框架下，每个已定义的生物区域评估项目均需开发空间资产数据库。支撑水依赖性资产识别的空间元素，首先由区域自然资源管理（Natural Resource Management，NRM）组织通过水资产信息工具（Water Asset Information Tool，WAIT）进行识别，再补充来自国家及州/领地政府数据集的额外元素。与Maranoa-Balonne-Condamine（MBC）子区域WAIT流程相关的所有报告均作为本数据集的一部分包含在压缩文件中。

若元素部分或完全位于子区域的初步评估范围（重要性测试1，Materiality Test 1，M1）内，则会被初步纳入资产数据库。随后，这些元素被分组为资产，由项目团队评估是否满足第二项重要性测试（Materiality Test 2，M2）。同时满足两项重要性测试的资产构成水依赖性资产列表。Clarence-Morton子区域已识别资产的描述可在数据库的"AssetList"表中找到。本版本数据库中，M1和M2均已完成评估。

资产是BA计划下项目团队用于场景建模的空间特征。资产层面不存在详细属性信息，仅包含反映BA分类层级的核心BA衍生属性，相关描述见压缩文件中本数据集附带的文档《MBC_asset_database_doc_20150616.doc》附录A。"Element_to_Asset"表包含元素与资产的关联关系，并标识了为创建每项资产而分组的元素。数据库结构与内容的详细说明可参见文档《MBC_asset_database_doc_20150616.doc》。

为修正NAMOI数据库中5项资产（资产ID：4741、4742、4743、4745、4747）的错误，将不正确的"subgroup"值从"Surface water management zone or area (surface area)"更新为"Groundwater management zone or area (surface area)"。

标志字段值从"On/Off"更新为"Yes/No"。
