De novo transcriptome of Rhincalanus gigas

In this study, we present the full transcriptome Rhincalanus gigas, a copepod living in Antarctict waters. The aim is to provide for the first time molecular resources for this species and use an -omic approach to identify transcripts coding proteins involved in the adaptation to cold environments.

本研究报道了栖息于南极水域的桡足类（copepod）——巨型长腹水蚤（Rhincalanus gigas）的全转录组（transcriptome）。本研究首次为该物种提供分子资源，并通过组学（-omic）方法，鉴定出参与寒冷环境适应的编码蛋白质的转录本。
