Parkes observations for project P501 semester 2007APRS

This proposal concentrates the timing observations of
binary and millisecond pulsars discovered by us in the Parkes
Multibeam (PKSMB) and high-latitude (PH) surveys. In order to fully
exploit the scientific promises of our discoveries it is essential to
perform continued timing observations. It is crucial that the
observing sessions be spaced at three-to-five week intervals. The
pulsars will be visible during LST 10:00-19:00 and the project
should be scheduled within this interval.

本提案聚焦于我们在帕克斯多波束（Parkes Multibeam，PKSMB）巡天与高纬度（PH）巡天中发现的双星脉冲星及毫秒脉冲星的计时观测数据。为充分挖掘这些发现的科学潜力，持续开展计时观测至关重要。观测时段的间隔需设置为3至5周，这一点极为关键。这些脉冲星在本地恒星时（Local Sidereal Time，LST）10:00-19:00期间可见，因此项目应安排在此时间段内进行。
