Analysis for mouse GTSF1 protein function

Mouse GTSF1 protein expresses in prospermatogonia and is a component of piRNA pathway. To reveal the impact of Gtsf1 deficiency on piRNA biogenesis, MILI-bound, MIWI2-bound, and total RNAs derived from Gtsf1+/- and Gtsf1-/- E17.5 testes were deep-sequenced.

小鼠GTSF1蛋白（Mouse GTSF1 protein）在前精原细胞中表达，且为piRNA通路（piRNA pathway）的组成成分。为阐明Gtsf1缺失对piRNA生物发生的影响，研究人员对胚胎发育第17.5天的Gtsf1杂合子（Gtsf1+/-）与Gtsf1纯合敲除（Gtsf1-/-）小鼠睾丸中提取的与MILI结合的RNA、与MIWI2结合的RNA及总RNA进行了深度测序。
