Data associated with "Irrigation drives dryland productivity gains in Asian endorheic basins

This dataset contains the processed spatial and statistical data supporting the findings presented in the article published in Communications Earth & Environment entitled "Irrigation drives dryland productivity gains in Asian endorheic basins".This study comprehensively investigates the spatiotemporal trends of vegetation Gross Primary Productivity (GPP) and their underlying drivers across the Asian Endorheic Basins (AEB) from 2001 to 2023. The provided dataset includes the vector boundary of the study area, remote sensing-derived gridded maps (e.g., GPP trends, irrigated cropland expansion, and Terrestrial Water Storage Anomaly [TWSA]), as well as the processed statistical tables used for the multiple linear regression and DGVM (TRENDY v12) driver attribution analyses. All spatial data are projected in the EPSG:4326 (WGS 84) coordinate system.
