Abdominal curvature data used in Fig. 4C

Abdominal curvature measurements made as described in the Extended Methods were used to calculate a mean curvature for each animal of each genotype before and during thermogenetic stimulation. Means of normalized curvatures were calculated across animals of each genotype and the significance of the difference of these means from 1 (i.e. the normalized curvature without stimulation) was estimated by t-test.

按照补充实验方法（Extended Methods）中所述流程获取的腹部弯曲度（Abdominal curvature）测量数据，用于计算每种基因型（genotype）的每只受试动物在热遗传刺激（thermogenetic stimulation）前及刺激过程中的平均弯曲度。针对每种基因型的全部受试动物，进一步计算其归一化弯曲度（normalized curvatures）的均值，并通过t检验（t-test）评估该均值与1（即无刺激状态下的归一化弯曲度）之间差异的显著性。
