Problematic Internet Use and its effects on Somatic Symptoms, Hyperventilation and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome among Youth

500 students were selected from six different colleges through stratified random sampling, out of which 448 data was selected for final analysis after data screening. Internet usage scale measured problematic internet use, Somatic symptom disorder –B criteria scale measured three psychological criteria interpreted as cognitive, affective and behavioural aspects. Nijmegen questionnaire and Chalder fatigue scale assessed hyperventilation and chronic fatigue syndrome respectively.

本研究通过分层随机抽样（stratified random sampling）法，从6所不同院校中抽取500名学生；经数据筛选后，共保留448份有效数据用于最终分析。采用网络使用量表（Internet Usage Scale）评估病理性网络使用情况；使用躯体症状障碍-B标准量表（Somatic Symptom Disorder –B Criteria Scale）测量三项心理评判标准，其分别对应认知、情感与行为三个维度；分别通过奈梅根问卷（Nijmegen Questionnaire）与查尔达疲劳量表（Chalder Fatigue Scale）评估过度换气综合征与慢性疲劳综合征。
