Pictures of growth of Chromobacterium violaceum ATCC 12472 on LB agar at 30 degree Celsius

This dataset comprises pictures of growth of Chromobacterium violaceum ATCC 12472 on LB agar at 30 oC. Round colonies with purple colouration were observed along the streak lines. Secretion of violacein antibiotic during stationary phase likely resulted in the purple colouration of the colonies.
