An uncommon presentation of Kikuchi Fujimoto disease: a case report with literature review

Kikuchi–Fujimoto disease should be kept in the differential diagnosis of lymphadenopathy in young<br>patients, female or male even in tuberculosis-endemic countries and even in patients who have unusual features; for example thrombocytopenia and involvement of axillary lymph nodes in addition to cervical lymph nodes as in this case.

菊池-藤本病（Kikuchi–Fujimoto disease）应被纳入年轻患者淋巴结病的鉴别诊断范畴，无论患者为女性还是男性，即便在结核病流行国家，亦或是存在不典型临床表现的患者中均需考虑；例如本病例中除颈淋巴结受累外，还同时出现血小板减少症与腋淋巴结受累的情况。
