Comparative Analysis of the in-vitro Susceptibility of Salmonella Typhi to Chloramphenicol and Leaf Extracts of Moringa Oleifera

This study compared the in-vitro susceptibility of Salmonella typhi to Chloramphenicol and Moringa oleifera leaf extracts. Ethanol and ether extracts of the leaves showed activity, while hot and cold water extracts did not. Chloramphenicol demonstrated higher in-vitro activity against Salmonella typhi than the leaf extracts.

本研究对比了伤寒沙门氏菌（Salmonella typhi）对氯霉素（Chloramphenicol）及辣木（Moringa oleifera）叶提取物的体外药敏性。结果显示，辣木叶的乙醇与乙醚提取物均表现出抗菌活性，而冷热水提取物则无相关活性；氯霉素对伤寒沙门氏菌的体外抗菌活性显著优于辣木叶提取物。
