The data files here have been used in Song et al. (2022, Journal of Geophysical Research, https://doi.org/10.1029/2021JB023821). Ten Excel files and one zipped file (EBSD and synthetic data) are provided. (1) One shows single-crystal stiffness tensors of quartz, plagiolcase, biotite (phlogopite), and muscovite. Three show (2) homogenized stiffness tensors, (3) 3D min and max velocities and anisotropies, and (4) 2D velocities and contrasts in the x1-x2 plane, for the natural and synthetid QF (quartzofeldspatic) and schist host rocks in the Sandhill Corner fault/shear zone, Maine, USA. (5) One is the source file to generate Table S2 and Figure 8 of Song et al. (2022), comparing the seismic properties of the Sandhill Corner shear zone to other published studies. The other five Excel files are from the sensitivity analysis on mica content using synthetic microstructures, which include (6) homogenized stiffness tensors, (7) 3D min and max velocities and aniostropies, (8) 2D velocities in the x1-x2 plane, (9) 2D velocity contrasts at azimuth=0 relative to the synthetic QF rock, and (10) 2D velocity contrasts at azimuth=0 relative to the natural QF rock. The zipped file contains all the EBSD and synthetic data (Euler angles, x-y coordinates, and phase ID) to compute seismic properties using TESA Toolbox.
