Before factory shipment, performance parameters of tunnel lights designated for the Sichuan-Bada Expressway were collected, and the energy efficiency index (EEI) of this type of luminaire was analyzed to determine its energy efficiency rating, so as to meet the lighting requirements of this specific scenario, guide the optimal design of the luminaires, and improve their energy-saving performance and service life. 1. Data Source Prior to factory shipment, finished tunnel lights designated for the Sichuan-Bada Expressway were randomly sampled, and parameters including input voltage, current, luminous flux, and power factor of the luminaires were collected. 2. Data Processing (1) Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) Analysis Based on Collected Parameters The EEI is calculated as: $$EEI = frac{P imes PF}{P_{ref}} = frac{IV imes PF}{P_{ref}}$$ where $P$ is the rated power of the luminaire, $PF$ is the power factor, $P_{ref}$ is the reference power of the luminaire, and $Phi_{use}$ is the effective luminous flux of the luminaire. The calculation formula for $P_{ref}$ varies based on $Phi_{use}$: - When $Phi_{use} < 1300 , ext{lm}$: $P_{ref} = 0.88sqrt{Phi_{use}} + 0.049Phi_{use}$ - When $Phi_{use} geq 1300 , ext{lm}$: $P_{ref} = 0.07341Phi_{use}$ (2) Energy Efficiency Rating Classification The energy efficiency rating is determined according to the EEI value as follows: - A++ grade: EEI ≤ 0.11 - A+ grade: 0.11 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.17 - A grade: 0.17 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.24 - B grade: 0.24 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.6 - C grade: 0.6 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.8 - D grade: 0.8 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.95 - E grade: EEI > 0.95 3.
