Random lasing in complex disordered systems demonstrates lasing efficiencyacross multiple localized modes. Accurate control of these modes can enablerandom lasers to function as fast-switching multifunctional light sources.In this work, an unpredictable random laser was prepared, and artificialintelligence technology was used for taming the lasing action. Lasing modeswere precisely controlled by programming the spatial shape of the pumpprofile. Genetic algorithms were introduced, allowing any mode within thecomplex system to be extracted by setting a target value associated withthat mode. Based on experimental results, the interaction model of pumpcells with lasing modes was locked. This work advances programmable randomlasers, enhancing their potential for practical applications in signalprocessing, spectral sensing, communication, and optical computing.

复杂无序体系中的随机激光(random lasing)可在多个局域模式下展现激光发射效能。对这些模式的精准调控,可使随机激光成为可快速切换的多功能光源。本研究制备了一款具有不可预测特性的随机激光系统,并借助人工智能(Artificial Intelligence, AI)技术对其激光发射行为进行调控。通过编程调控泵浦分布的空间形貌,可精准控制激光模式。本研究引入遗传算法(Genetic Algorithm, GA),通过设定与目标模式相关联的参数值,即可从该复杂体系中提取任意指定的激光模式。基于实验结果,本研究确立了泵浦单元与激光模式间的相互作用模型。本研究推动了可编程随机激光领域的发展,提升了其在信号处理、光谱传感、通信及光计算等领域的实际应用潜力。
