Soluble reactive phosphate (SRP) samples were collected on the SCOPE Gradients 2 cruise in the north Pacific Ocean. SRP was measured by sampling directly from the R/V Langseth's underway uncontaminated seawater system (intake depth 5m). Phosphate was determined colormetrically on a SEAL Analytical Autoanalyzer. Samples were corrected for a DI water blank and a reagent standard curve (4 concentrations) that was run for about 10 min every few hours.
