Advancing Fishing Community Resilience and Adaptation in a Changing Climate: Report from the East Coast Workshop March 12– 14, 2024

In March 2024, several NOAA Offices and state Sea Grant Programs convened a workshop with experts and practitioners to discuss how to help East Coast fishing communities better prepare for and respond to climate-related changes on land and at sea. The workshop was designed to help identify specific needs, approaches, and opportunities to advance this field over the next 3 to 5 years.

2024年3月，美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA）下属多个办公室与各州海洋赠地计划（Sea Grant Programs）联合举办专家与实务研讨会，围绕如何助力东海岸渔业社区更好地应对陆域与海域的气候变化相关影响、做好前置准备展开探讨。本次研讨会旨在梳理明确未来3至5年内推动该领域发展的具体需求、可行路径与发展机遇。
