The dataset is a global gridded climatological (long-term annual mean) temperature and salinity (T & S) dataset with ten ensembles, named BOA_CLM. This dataset has 80 vertical levels (from 5 dbar to 1950 dbar) and different horizontal resolutions, including 1°, 1/2°, 1/4°, 1/6°, 1/8° to 1/10°. It is generated from over 7.2 million historical T & S profiles collected from 1900-2024.The gridded BOA_CLM can be accessed from figshare in the form of NetCDF, and the Matlab script 'read_BOA_CLM_nc.m' can be used to read these files. Here the variables (T & S) include 8 ensembles. Such as, the 1° global gridded T & S is BOA_CLIM_TEO10_stable_global_1_1_Ensemble_**.nc, and the 1/10° gridded data is BOA_CLIM_TEO10_stable_global_1_10_Ensemble_**.nc, and they include:1.latitude: latitudes for T and S2.longitude: longitude for T and S3.pressure: depths (unit:dbar) for T and S4.Conservative_temperature: Conservative temperature (unit:°C) (dimension:latitude*longitude*depth)5.Absolute_salinity: Absolute salinity (unit: g/kg)(dimension:latitude*longitude*depth)Copyright and Disclaimer:1.
