Corpus of 237 undergraduate midwifery summative assignments

This corpus was collected at the University of Northampton, a university in England, UK. It consists of 237 summative assignments contributed by 67 undergraduate students studying midwifery. Each assignment is between 1200 and 3000 words in length (approximately 550,000 words in total). Each student contributed 3 or 4 assignments written to an assignment brief. The assignments were a first year undergraduate essay, and three second year undergraduate assignments: a critique, a case study and an essay. There are two versions of each assignment, a complete version which contains the text and the reference list; and a version which is a text file and contains the text only.
