<b>Importance</b>: Although with the shortage of human resources utilization of robots is promising, no integration of knowledge has been carried out in the field of occupational therapy. <b>Objective</b>: To synthesize knowledge published since 2014 of robot-assisted occupational therapy interventions to globally foster occupations (excluding exoskeletons and prosthesis).<b> </b><b>Data Sources:</b><b> </b>The method of Arksey and O’Malley was used to search in seven databases. with five keywords about occupational therapy and robotics. <b>Study Selection and Data Collection</b>: Data from selected studies on robot-assisted occupational therapy practice were extracted for: research context, interventions and results. <b>Findings</b>: Among the seventeen articles selected, almost half targeted children (41.2%), especially with autism, and five involved older adults (29.4%). Most papers (9; 52.9%) reported that participants were satisfied of the intervention with the robot but three studies reported unsatisfaction (17.6%). <b>Conclusions and Relevance</b>: Robot-assisted interventions are emerging in OT with individuals of all ages and conditions. Promising, the potential of these interventions should be studied for broader applications, <i>e.g.</i>, occupational development and environmental modifications.
