Code and Data accompanying "Ballistic and snake photon imaging for locating optical endomicroscopy fibres"

We demonstrate determination of the location of the distal-end of a fibre-optic device deep in tissue through the imaging of ballistic and snake photons using a time resolved single-photon detector array. The fibre was imaged with centimetre resolution, within clinically relevant settings and models. This technique can overcome the limitations imposed by tissue scattering in optically determining the in vivo location of fibre-optic medical instruments.我们通过使用时间分辨单光子探测器阵列对弹道光子（ballistic photons）和蛇形光子（snake photons）进行成像，实现了对组织深处光纤设备远端位置的确定。光纤在临床相关的环境与模型中以厘米级分辨率成像。该技术可克服组织散射在光学确定光纤医疗仪器在体（in vivo）位置时所带来的限制。
