Angiostrongylus cantonensis is a parasitic nematode of rodents, an emerging global public health and the principal etiological agent causing eosinophilic meningitis in Humans. In last years, several outbreaks have been documented worldwide, principally in Southeast Asia, Pacific Islands, parts of South and Central America, Caribbean and many states in Brazil. In this study we present the novo assembly of transcriptome of Adult worms A.cantonensis by high-throughput sequencing (Illumina Platform).
广州管圆线虫(Angiostrongylus cantonensis)是一种寄生于啮齿动物的寄生线虫,同时也是一类新兴的全球性公共卫生问题,亦是引发人类嗜酸性粒细胞性脑膜炎的主要病原体。近年来,全球范围内已有多起暴发疫情被记录在案,主要分布于东南亚、太平洋岛屿、南美及中美洲部分地区、加勒比海区域以及巴西的多个州。本研究通过高通量测序(Illumina平台)完成了广州管圆线虫成虫的转录组从头组装。
