PISCO: Intertidal: Mussel Growth Monitoring: UCSB: 2001

This metadata record documents the difference of growth rates of mussels within the study sites of PISCO intertidal and on moorings along the California coast. The transplanted mussels are placed with in the exposed mid zone of the study sites or at XX depth on moorings found within 1 km of the shore. In the intertidal, one set of mussels are deployed in April and left out for a year. Another set is placed for 3 month and correspond in dates and duration to the mooring set. The mussel are then collected and brought back into the lab to be processed.

本元数据记录旨在记录加州沿岸PISCO潮间带研究样地与近岸锚泊设施上贻贝的生长速率差异。实验所用移植贻贝被投放至研究样地的暴露型中潮带，或是离岸1公里范围内锚泊设施的XX深度处。其中，潮间带样地中的一组贻贝于4月完成部署并在野外留存一年；另一组的投放时长为3个月，其投放时段与持续时长与锚泊组实验周期完全匹配。后续将收集所有贻贝并带回实验室开展后续处理。
