This dataset is the first-stage research output of a project funded by the National Science Centre, Poland, focusing on the effects of microwave-assisted deep eutectic solvent pretreatment on the composition of lignocellulosic biomass and the biomass's susceptibility to cellulase hydrolysis. It contains two files of research documentation covering biomass composition data and the enzymatic hydrolysis performance of pretreated biomass. The project is supported by the National Science Centre, Poland, under grant number 2022/47/B/NZ9/00479.
