Study of Chemoresistance Mechanisms and Potential Alternate Therapy in Colorectal Cancers
收藏资源简介:
Chemoresistance is a significant treatment challenge in colorectal cancers (CRC). This thesis describes apoptosis inhibition as pivotal mechanism conferring CRC chemoresistance, confirmed through bioinformatics analysis and laboratory experiments using cisplatin-resistant CRC cell models that were established in this study. This thesis also explores ferroptosis in overcoming chemoresistance. Combining cisplatin with the ferroptosis inducer RSL3 demonstrates synergistic anticancer effect, particularly in cisplatin-resistant CRC cells, offering a potential avenue to overcome chemoresistance. These findings underscore the importance of understanding and targeting apoptosis evasion and ferroptosis induction in CRC therapy, warranting further investigation into their clinical applications.
