Electrical Impedance Tomography for Nondestructive Evaluation: Gap Detection and Hollow Block Imaging in 2D and 3D Phantoms
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains all the draft and final experimental and reconstructed data used in the study “Electrical Impedance Tomography for Gap and Hollow Detection in Phantoms”. The data were generated from controlled phantom experiments with 16 electrodes, employing both air and saline media, and include raw voltage measurements, reconstruction outputs, and quality evaluation metrics (CNR, PSNR, SSIM, CBR, and computation time). The paper is submitted in the "Measurement" Q1 Elsevier journal for publication on October 22, 2025. The repository provides: Raw measurement files collected from different object geometries (gaps, hollows, cones, blocks). Finite Element Method (FEM) models and simulation parameters used for forward and inverse problems. Reconstruction images (2D and 3D) in both air and saline backgrounds. Quantitative metrics summarizing reconstruction fidelity and contrast. All data are provided in open formats (CSV, PNG) to ensure accessibility and reusability. Detailed metadata are included to allow replication and secondary analysis. Intended UseThe dataset supports transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) methods for defect detection, structural health monitoring, and imaging research. Researchers may use these datasets for benchmarking reconstruction algorithms, testing new regularization methods, or validating FEM-based EIT models.
