资源简介:
The idea behind the Radiant Intelligence Protocol (RIP) begins with a simple observation: modern AI systems are scaling rapidly, but they are still built on silicon architectures that rely on electron-based binary logic. As computational demands grow, this approach increasingly faces limits in energy consumption, heat generation, and physical scalability.RIP is a theoretical framework that explores an alternative direction for future AI systems. Instead of using electrons as the primary carriers of information, the architecture considers photons and wave interference as the physical basis of computation. The proposed system is organized as a six-layer photonic architecture that includes continuous energy activation, a resonant propagation medium, multi-dimensional wave encoding (phase, amplitude, and frequency), an electro-optical interface for external signals, a nonlinear optical reservoir for computation, and a decoding layer that stabilizes the resulting wave patterns into interpretable outputs. The framework draws ideas from several established research areas, including photonic computing, neuromorphic systems, optical reservoir computing, and attractor-based neural models. At its core, the proposal explores whether physical wave dynamics could support new forms of high-density, low-heat information processing beyond conventional silicon systems. This work does not claim that such a system can be engineered today. Significant challenges remain in areas such as phase coherence control, nonlinear material design, and scalable photonic integration. Instead, RIP is presented as a conceptual architecture intended to encourage discussion about possible post-silicon approaches to large-scale machine intelligence. Keywords: Photonic Computing · Wave-Based Computation · AGI Architecture · Neuromorphic Photonics · Optical Reservoir Computing · Post-Silicon Computing
