Vibrio parahaemolyticus, naturally being in marine and estuarine environments worldwide, is the causative agent of human seafood-borne gastroenteritis disease and even death. In this project, we determined the complete genome sequence of Vibrio parahaemolyticus CHN25, recently isolated from aquatic products in China, using the 454-pyrosequencing technique.

副溶血性弧菌（Vibrio parahaemolyticus）广泛分布于全球海洋与河口环境中，是引发人类食源性胃肠炎乃至死亡的致病菌。本研究采用454焦磷酸测序（454-pyrosequencing）技术，完成了近期从中国水产品中分离得到的副溶血性弧菌CHN25菌株的全基因组序列测定。
