Anaerobic ammonium oxidation coupled with ferric iron reduction is an important microbial pathway of oxidizing ammonium for low C/N wastewater,which has been widely found in wetland, fresh water, marine sediment, tropical forest soil, paddy field and etc. in recent studies. This biochemical process oxidizes ammonium to nitrogen, nitrite or nitrate in anaerobic conditions.
厌氧氨氧化耦合铁还原(Anaerobic ammonium oxidation coupled with ferric iron reduction)是针对低碳氮比(C/N)废水实现氨氮氧化的重要微生物代谢途径。近年来的诸多研究已在湿地、淡水环境、海洋沉积物、热带森林土壤、稻田等多种生境中广泛发现该途径的存在。该生化过程可在厌氧条件下将铵态氮氧化为氮气、亚硝酸盐或硝酸盐。
