Pachygrapsus marmoratus Transcriptome or Gene expression

The marble crab Pachygrapsus marmoratus is an intertidal brachyuran crab that inhabits the rocky shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea and East Atlantic Ocean. Here, we present the first non-redundant and protein-coding de novo transcriptome assembly for P. marmoratus along with a quality assessment and reliable transcript annotation. This assembly was built from twelve adults sampled from two populations in the Tyrrhenian sea, in central Italy.

大理石蟹（marble crab）Pachygrapsus marmoratus是一种潮间带短尾蟹，栖息于地中海、黑海及东大西洋的岩质潮间带生境。本研究首次构建了P. marmoratus的首个非冗余、蛋白编码型从头转录组（de novo transcriptome）组装结果，并配套提供了质量评估与可靠的转录本注释信息。该转录组组装基于采自意大利中部第勒尼安海两个种群的12只成体个体完成。
