RNA-Seq transcriptome sequencing was performed on subsequent stages of Cichorium intybus flower bud development, with flower buds ranging from 4mm to 12mm. Three lines were included: fertile chicory (K1337), and two cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) chicory lines (CMS30 and CMS36). The aim was to gain insights on chicory flower development, as well as uncover transcriptome changes associated with CMS.
本研究对菊苣(Cichorium intybus)花芽发育的各后续阶段开展了RNA-Seq转录组测序(RNA-Seq transcriptome sequencing),所用花芽尺寸介于4mm至12mm之间。实验共包含三个菊苣品系:可育菊苣K1337,以及两个细胞质雄性不育(CMS, cytoplasmic male sterility)菊苣品系CMS30与CMS36。本研究旨在深入解析菊苣花芽发育的调控机制,并揭示与细胞质雄性不育相关的转录组表达变化。
