PE-RAD sequencing of the Eurasian beaver (Castor fiber)

In this study we used pair-end restriction site associated DNA (PE- RAD) sequencing to discover SNP markers suitable for population genetic and parentage analysis with the aim of using them for monitoring the reintroduction of the Eurasian beaver (Castor fiber) into Scotland.

本研究采用双端限制性酶切位点关联DNA（PE-RAD）测序技术，筛选适用于群体遗传学与亲权分析的单核苷酸多态性（Single Nucleotide Polymorphism, SNP）标记，旨在利用此类标记对欧亚河狸（Castor fiber）重新引入苏格兰的种群重建过程进行监测。
