The study was undertaken in order to shed a light on the meaning of a new players in estrogen signaling: G-protein coupled membrane estrogen receptor (GPER) and estrogen-related receptor (ERR) for testis function at the level of gene expression and their involvement in cellular and molecular processes. Male mice received intraperitoneal injections of GPER antagonist (G-15; 50ug/kg bw) or ERR-alfa antagonist (XCT 790; 50ug/kg bw) or ERR-beta/ERR-gamma agonist (DY131; 50ug/kg bw). For the study Next Generation Sequencing (RNA-Seq) analysis was used.

本研究旨在阐明雌激素信号通路的新成员——G蛋白偶联膜雌激素受体(G-protein coupled membrane estrogen receptor, GPER)与雌激素相关受体(estrogen-related receptor, ERR)在基因表达层面对睾丸功能的意义,及其在细胞与分子生物学过程中的参与作用。雄性小鼠经腹腔注射GPER拮抗剂(G-15;50μg/kg 体重)、ERR-α拮抗剂(XCT 790;50μg/kg 体重)或ERR-β/ERR-γ激动剂(DY131;50μg/kg 体重)。本研究采用下一代测序(RNA-Seq)分析技术。
