The supplementary files made available here refer to nucleotide sequences generated with three distinct mitochondrial gene markers from fish egg samples obtained from the stomachs of two different predator species, the European sardine Sardina pilchardus and the Atlantic chub mackerel Scomber colias. Supplemental File 1 – Nucleotide sequences of the barcode COI (cytochrome oxidase subunit I) generated from single egg samples extracted from sardine and chub mackerel stomachs.
