Corneal confocal microscopy has been increasingly deployed in clinical research studies. However, the effect of image selection, repeatability and the number of images required to accurately quantify CCM images has not been addressed. Our study shows that implementing a standardized protocol to select CCM images results in high intra and inter-observer reproducibility corneal nerve quantification and 6 images are adequate for analysis
角膜共聚焦显微镜(Corneal Confocal Microscopy, CCM)已日益广泛应用于临床研究中。然而,图像选择、可重复性以及精准量化CCM图像所需的图像数量这一问题,目前尚未得到解决。本研究表明,采用标准化方案选取CCM图像,可实现较高的观察者内与观察者间角膜神经量化可重复性,且6幅图像即可满足分析需求。
