Single channel seismic field data on the Rio Grande shelf off south Texas, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1996 (LS9609)

Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this R/V Lone Star survey collected single-channel seismic data on the Rio Grande shelf and delta off south Texas during September 1996 using a 15 ci watergun. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment supply. The survey collected a second SCS data set on the slope using a 20 ci sleeve gun and collected CHIRP data.
