H&E stained sections - individual 41-13-1

H&E stained sections from study examining the effect of cricothyroid muscle ablation on singing in Alston's singing mouse. Half of the sections come from larynges that received a sham surgery and should have intact laryngeal muscles. The other half come from larynges that had an ablation surgery and should have damaged cricothyroids. The goal of staining and imaging these slides was to quantify how much of the cricothyroid was damaged during the surgery and identify if any other muscles were damaged.Images are named by the following convention: individualID-slide#-section# (e.g., 41-13-1_2_5 = individual 41-13-1 slide 2 section 5).

本数据集取自一项探究环甲肌消融术（cricothyroid muscle ablation）对阿尔斯顿氏鸣鼠（Alston's singing mouse）鸣唱行为影响的研究中的苏木精-伊红（H&E）染色切片。其中一半切片取自接受假手术（sham surgery）的喉部标本，其喉部肌肉应保持完整；另一半切片则取自接受环甲肌消融术的喉部标本，其环甲肌应已出现损伤。本次对玻片进行染色并成像的目的，是量化手术中环甲肌的受损程度，并确认是否存在其他喉部肌肉的损伤。图像命名遵循如下规范：个体ID-玻片编号-切片编号（例如，41-13-1_2_5 代表个体41-13-1的第2张玻片、第5个切片）。
