Aquatic Animal Medicine: A State Of The Art; Proceedings Of A Conference Held April 25, 1979 At Whitney Hall, Marineland, Florida

The first portion of the International Association for Aquatic Animal Medicine Tenth Annual Conference was devoted to the presentation of technical papers. This overview co-sponsored by Florida Sea Grant and the International Association for Aquatic Animal Medicine will be a complement to it. We will step back from discussing highly technical things and look at some broad topics in this field. Sea Grant encourages such overview, or "State of the Art,'' workshops to determine what is happening nationally in a variety of marine-related fields, Questions are asked as: who is working in aquatic medicine? how do differing programs merge and share information? how is duplication of effort avoided? and, who funds and sets priorities for aquatic animal medicine research?
