H; hybrid.3) Hyphal fusion++, commonly undergoing vegetative hyphal fusion (the average number of vegetative hyphal fusion in the observed area in one set of experiments (8067.6 μm2) was ≥ 1, which corresponds to ca. > 10 vegetative hyphal fusion per mm2)+, rarely undergoing vegetative hyphal fusion (the average number of vegetative hyphal fusion in the observed area was ND, fusion not detected4) Hyphal cords (see S2 Fig);++, extensive cords of more than ten hyphae running side by side+ minor cords of ca. five hyphae-, no cordsVegetative hyphal fusion in Epichloë grown in culture.
1) 物种命名基于香柱菌属(Epichloë)物种的修订后命名规范[23]。2) NH代表非杂交株(non-hybrid),H代表杂交株(hybrid)。3) 菌丝融合等级:++表示高频发生营养菌丝融合(单组实验的观测区域(8067.6 μm²)内,营养菌丝融合的平均数量≥1,对应每平方毫米约10次以上的融合);+表示极少发生营养菌丝融合(观测区域内的营养菌丝融合平均数量为ND,即未检测到融合)。4) 菌丝绳(详见补充材料图S2):++表示存在由10条以上菌丝并排组成的大量菌丝绳;+表示存在约由5条菌丝组成的少量菌丝绳;-表示未形成菌丝绳。本数据集聚焦于培养条件下香柱菌属真菌的营养菌丝融合。
