资源简介:

This dataset contains raw numerical data and unprocessed immunoblot images from an intervention experiment examining vitamin D3 supplementation and whole-body heat treatment in high-fat diet-fed mice. Six-week-old male C57BL/6N mice were allocated to a normal diet-fed reference (ND) group and four high-fat diet-fed groups: control (CON+SHAM), vitamin D3 supplementation (VD+SHAM), heat treatment (CON+HT), and combined vitamin D3 supplementation plus heat treatment (VD+HT), with six mice per group. Mice in the high-fat diet-fed groups were fed a high-fat diet for approximately 9 weeks. Vitamin D3 was administered orally at 2,320 IU/kg body weight per dose, three times per week. Whole-body heat treatment was performed at 39 ± 1°C for 30 min, three times per week. Oral glucose tolerance and insulin tolerance tests were conducted in weeks 7 and 8, respectively. At necropsy in week 9, body weight and epididymal white adipose tissue weight were measured. The raw numerical data include body weight, body weight gain, energy intake, food efficiency, fasting blood glucose, oral glucose tolerance test data, insulin tolerance test data, calculated area under the curve values, epididymal white adipose tissue weight, serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 concentrations, and HSP72 protein expression in skeletal muscles. Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 concentrations are provided as pooled values because serum samples from six mice in each group were pooled into one sample per group. The unprocessed immunoblot images include HSP72 and Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining images for the soleus and plantaris muscles.
