Description The experiment was conducted on Monday September 28nd at approximately 3:45 pm until 5:00. All the data was collected in the woodlot and corresponds to dataset 1. It was cloudly, windy and humid. The temperature was around 20 degrees celcius. Materials: Quadrat, 1m by 1m Method: 20 quadrats were used in total, 10 to be placed in the grassland and 10 to be placed in the woodlot. The selection of each quadrat in the habitat was randomized by first selecting a location and then the next one would be located 1.5 meters north to the previous location where the quadrat was placed. The quadrat was left in place for a duration of 2 minutes. After the desired time elapsed 2 minutes were spent counting the insects within the quadrat.   The recognizable RTUs include dragonflies, mayflies, grasshoppers,bugs,butterflies,moths beetles, flies, ants, wasps, bees and spider.

### 数据集说明 本实验于9月28日(周一)下午约3:45至5:00开展,所有数据均采集于小片林地(woodlot),对应数据集1。当日天气多云、多风且湿度较高,气温约为20摄氏度。 ### 实验材料 1米×1米样方框(quadrat)。 ### 实验方法 本次实验共使用20个样方框,其中10个放置于草原生境,10个放置于小片林地生境。生境内样方框的选取采用随机法:先选定初始放置点位,后续每个样方框均设于前一个样方框放置点以北1.5米处。 样方框放置时长为2分钟,待预设时长结束后,耗时2分钟计数样方框内的昆虫。 ### 可识别类群 可识别的分类单元(RTUs)包括蜻蜓、蜉蝣、蝗虫、蝽类、蝶类、蛾类、甲虫、蝇类、蚁类、胡蜂、蜜蜂以及蜘蛛。
