资源简介:

Remains of extremely small possible stone circle, standing in an area of woodland known close as Image Wood. The two stones on the northern side are close together and all five stones are erect and massive. The most northerly stone is canted to the north, and although earthfast, may not be in situ. Without this stone the remains could be either a four-poster, or the remains of a stone circle of the transitional type described by Burl. This setting has been compared with East Circle at Backhill of Drachlaw (NJ64NE0004) and Glassel Wood (NO69NW0002) as being transitional in form between recumbent stone circles and four-posters (Burl 1971). Southernmost stone 3D modelled as it appeared to have possible carving (it didn't!). Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
